At the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety, a working meeting was held with representatives of Japan’s ITO Corporation and “Hududgazta’minot” JSC to discuss the introduction in Uzbekistan of equipment for the production of synthetic natural gas (methane) by mixing liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) with air.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Shinji Saito and Mr. Daisuke Hayashida from ITO Corporation; from the Committee — Mr. Kh. Yusupov, Head of the Department for Methodological Support and Preparation of Regulatory Documents; Mr. A. Akbarov, Chief Specialist of the Department; Mr. I. Asadov, Head of the Department for Planning and Coordination of Supervisory and Preventive Activities; Mr. M. Saydazimov, Chief Specialist of the Department; as well as Mr. Kh. Abdulazizov, Deputy Head of the Business Strategic Development and Investment Department of “Hududgazta’minot” JSC.
During the discussions, the technological aspects of implementing this project in Uzbekistan and issues related to ensuring safety during the operation of the equipment were thoroughly reviewed. The Japanese experts shared their experience in introducing such technologies and particularly highlighted the advantages of the proposed solution.
Special attention was given to industrial safety, energy efficiency, and ensuring that the project complies with the current regulatory requirements in the territory of the Republic. The parties discussed ways to further develop cooperation and coordinate joint efforts to ensure the successful implementation of the project.
As a result of the meeting, mutual understanding was reached on the need to continue cooperation and carry out joint work aimed at further development of the project.
