Based on Order No. 129 of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Industrial Safety and Mining Control (UZSANOATKONTEXNAZORAT) dated September 20, 1999, the Scientific-Technical Center of the "KOMTEXNAZORATO‘QUV" subsidiary enterprise was established. It was registered by Decision No. 967 of the Hokim (Mayor) of the Shaykhantakhur district on October 4, 1999.
In order to ensure the execution of Decree No. PF-2535 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 7, 2000, and in accordance with Resolution No. 130 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated April 7, 2000, the "KOMTEXNAZORATO‘QUV" Scientific-Technical Center was included in the infrastructure subdivision of the "Sanoatkontexnazorat" Agency.
In order to ensure the execution of Decree No. PF-3454 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 9, 2004, and in accordance with Resolution No. 323 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 10, 2004, the "KONTEXNAZORATO‘QUV" Scientific-Technical Center was transformed into the organizational structure of the State Inspectorate "Sanoatkontexnazorat" for Control of Safe Conduct of Works in Industry, Mining, and the Utilities Sector.
Based on Resolution No. 131 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 11, 2011, the "KONTEXNAZORATO‘QUV" Scientific-Technical Center Unitary Enterprise was designated as a self-financing subordinate organization of the State Inspectorate "Sanoatgeokontexnazorat" for Geological Study of Subsoil, Control of Safe Conduct of Works in Industry, Mining, and the Utilities Sector under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Pursuant to Resolution No. PQ-4058 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 12, 2018, the State Unitary Enterprise Scientific-Technical Center "Kontexnazorat o‘quv" was renamed as the "Kontexnazorato‘quv" State Unitary Enterprise.
In accordance with Annex 1 to Resolution No. 350 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 3, 2021, the organizational and legal form of the self-financing "Kontexnazorato‘quv" State Unitary Enterprise was changed to the "Kontexnazorato‘quv" State Institution without changing its functions and tasks.
Based on Annex 2 to Decree No. PF-116 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 27, 2023, the "Kontexnazorato‘quv" State Institution was included in the organizational structure of the Inspectorate for Control of Mining, Geology and Industrial Safety under the Ministry of Mining and Geology.
Based on Annex 2 to Resolution No. PQ-186 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 24, 2024, the "Kontexnazorato‘quv" State Institution was included in the organizational structure of the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety under the Cabinet of Ministers.
