On 4 June of the current year, an online meeting was held under the leadership of Mr. A.I. Isoqjonov, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety. The meeting was also attended by Mr. X.G. Yusupov, Head of the Department for Methodological Support and Preparation of Regulatory Documents, Mr. I.I. Asadov, Head of the Department for Planning and Coordination of Supervisory and Preventive Activities, as well as Mr. S. Tashmatov, Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea.
Representatives of the Transport Safety Corporation under the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Korea participated in the discussions, including Mr. Lee Tae Hun (Head of Division), Mr. Pak Cheon Su (Deputy Head of Division) and Mr. Kim Yeon Hyun (Manager).
The purpose of the negotiations was to review the legislation and practical application of technical standards in the Republic of Korea regarding the technical inspection of SPG-3 type gas cylinder equipment (GCE). During the dialogue, both parties exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and received answers to their questions.
Upon conclusion of the negotiations, the parties agreed to establish close cooperation in this area in the future, with the aim of achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
