The international forum on industrial safety and occupational protection, launched at the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex at the initiative of “O‘zbekneftgaz” JSC, has now continued at the Uzbekistan GTL plant.

🔹 Experts from major oil and gas companies of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Tatarstan are taking part in the forum, engaging in in-depth discussions on issues related to industrial safety and occupational protection.

💡 During the forum, specialists of the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety are sharing their expertise on reducing hazardous working conditions at high-risk industrial facilities, protecting employees, and promoting a stronger safety culture.

🔹 Participants also visited the Uzbekistan GTL plant, where they studied the industrial safety system implemented at the facility and explored the innovative technologies applied. Special recognition was given to the plant’s safe operational processes, technically advanced infrastructure and best practices in using modern engineering solutions.

📌 For reference: Uzbekistan GTL is the largest GTL (gas-to-liquids) plant in Uzbekistan, producing synthetic fuel from natural gas. The facility is capable of processing 3.6 billion cubic metres of natural gas annually and producing 1.5 million tonnes of synthetic fuel. This project is a key national energy initiative aimed at converting natural gas into new types of fuel and creating environmentally friendly energy sources. The plant plays an important role in enhancing the country’s energy security, reducing dependence on energy imports, and supporting the development of local industry.
