🏭 At major industrial facilities, safety is ensured not only through inspections, but also through the ability to identify potential risks in advance and manage them effectively.
For this purpose, the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety, in cooperation with ROSEN Group, is holding a training seminar on “Risk-Based Inspection: API RP 580/581”.
🔎 Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) is an approach to equipment inspection in which inspections are carried out not simply according to a standard schedule, but based on the equipment’s risk level, the probability of corrosion, damage mechanisms, and its impact on the production process.
In other words, the RBI approach helps determine which equipment poses a higher risk, where the probability of failure is greater, and which assets require closer attention.
📘 API RP 580/581 standards help organize this process systematically based on international practice. These standards serve as an important methodological basis for risk assessment, inspection planning, and improving production safety.
🤝 Cooperation in this area is being carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed on May 14 of this year between the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety and ROSEN Group, a company with global experience in ensuring the integrity of production assets.
The memorandum is aimed at developing technical cooperation in the oil and gas and chemical sectors, introducing modern diagnostic methods, improving risk management practices, and expanding knowledge exchange among specialists.
⚙️ Today, the training seminar is continuing at “Kontexnazorato‘quv” State Institution, where representatives of major industrial facilities supervised by the Committee are strengthening their knowledge and skills in these approaches.
✅ Such trainings play an important role in improving the safety culture at industrial facilities, ensuring the reliable operation of equipment, and introducing modern, risk-based approaches into inspection processes.
